Showery here, which is typical as I have tons of washing to do!

Been a busy bee this morning - Jen (and Tom) is at work which is unusual on my day off (I love having the house to myself! LOL) so have got cracking and done a massive tidyup, hoovering everwhere to within an inch of its life, including the blasted spiderwebs in the conservatory  That's supposed to be Tom's job, since he uses it the most but hey ho....I've changed our bed, washed floors and cleaned bathrooms - I have some pictures to sort out as well so have been up in the loft putting old ones up there, need new to go in new living room :D :D So later on my hammer will be in use

I'm shattered now and in need of caffiene so having a cuppa and a toasted teacake.....I intended going to meet Tom for coffee in Darlington but woke up with a scratchy throat and aches and pains.....so I'm home alone instead ;)

Hugs to all and hope your weather is a bit better than here xxx

Afternoon all, it was fairly bright and sunny earlier on so I put on a wash. I had to go out early though as I had a boobysquishy appointment and the wash hadn't finished. Just as well, because by the time I was 10 minutes along the road, the rain was hammering down. In and out of my appointment very quickly, and I had thought I might wander around town for an hour but it was too miserable so I came home. Mr. Osc's golf was cancelled too, although the rain has now stopped. I want to go to the library so will do that in a few minutes, then I'll see what I feel like doing this afternoon! The "Sold" sign appeared outside the house when Mr. Osc wasn't looking   exactly the same happened when they put up the "Sale Agreed" sign! Jen, I know how you are feeling, it's sooooo stressful, it's the first (and last!) time we have sold a house.

Afternoon all.

We were up and out early this morning as I took the girls and their friends to Alton Towers. I dropped them off, paid for them (after taking out a second mortgage) and then came home. Its only around 40 minutes away from us. I am going back for them later, via the M&S food store.

S's 14th birthday today - where on earth does time go.

Mick and I will probably go out later on this evening. I don't think S will care as she will come home, have dinner and then shut herself away in her bedroom as per. Two of our friends have just come back from a cruise so I want to catch up with them about that and also he was at hospital on Wednesday, having been diagnosed with prostate cancer just before they went, so I want to find out how that went.

Really need to get away from the laptop - Millie is lying by the door, waiting for her walk.

Well I would have....but the house hasn't been touched in aaaages, we keep having weekends away and looking after/days out with Lewis and stuff so nothing gets done   'Sides, I did all the coffee out thing yesterday  ;)

Anyway am satisfied I have done everything I needed to do (except iron!) - pictures are all up, and the ones I don't want up are up in the loft....i have even cleaned the patio doors (into the conservatory, always messy with dogs licks and noses etc   )

Bet it all looks great - I love the way the house is after I've done it, but just hate the actual doing it    ;)
