Morning all :)
Well I got to the hospital just after 8.30 and there were still 20 people ahead of me in the queue for blood tests :o
No-one really knows why, unless a lot of holidaymakers are having to have regular ones done while they're here? :? Other times you can go and be the only one!

Still, it's done now, the best lady was there and got it first time :)
No idea what I'm doing the rest of the day but it's a lovely one, sunny and breezy :D
Have a good day all
Di

I did wonder why you had such a wait yesterday Di, you usually seem to post that you're more or less straight in and out (depending on your veins!!)...

Morning all :D

Glad you had the nurse who manages to do it in one go Di x

We had a good journey getting here yesterday, seems much easier on a week day. Will have to bear that in mind when we do the journey in reverse to visit mother. Oh and the courtesy car is great :D

Meeting the builder at the bungalow at 2pm so fingers crossed he doesn't tell us it's too costly to go ahead. Just about to check out so will probably have a saunter along the sea front to kill time.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good afternoon everybody.

Been out today with some other pensioners who used to work for the same firm. Went for a walk along the canal with a guide giving lots of information about the area known as the Weavers Triangle.
Then into a pub for lunch. It was after three o'clock when I got home.
Had some rain this morning on the motorway but there is some blue sky now.
When I go to have my blood tested, I go before 7.30 a.m so that I am first in the queue. This is in the same building as a local gym with a large car park. I like watching the look on other people who come just as it will open as they think they will be the first ones in.
