Just had a long conversation with Miss Osc, who was talking to the other solicitor this morning. He seems to have manoevered his clients into paying €800 for a mapping expert (she feels that they still must want the house if they are prepared to pay that amount of money) to finally sort this out. Miss Osc is issuing an ultimatum today - we want signed contracts by Wednesday 13th August with a closing date soon afterwards, or we put the house back on the market. Obviously we really really do not want to do that, but once she gives this ultimatum, we have to stick to it. In the meantime of course, prime selling time is just about over
