Morning all :)
Somehow been busy all morning and only just got on here.
Loads of rain last night, it was still dull when I got up but has all cleared now, it's sunny and breezy :)

Got the TV on ready for the start of le Tour here too Saundra :)

Ooh Loz how exciting - our original choice was a bungalow to do up and sell, but BB's flat sale fell through and we missed it. That place looks as though it's mainly cosmetic, what sort of plans do you have for what to do?
Jen exciting for you too, have crossed things for you :)

Ton I didn't see the match live but the clip on Breakfast was horrible, I couldn't watch the replay :(
Kaz nice you have both of them home after all, hope the dog sitting went ok :)

Bb's working, I've managed the hoovering, the new Tv unit is here (the lovely man came in the pouring rain) and looks good as new. It's on its back on the sofa at the moment till we have time to decide what to do with it exactly.
Oh yes garden newsflash - our fig tree (bought last year, bargain) has baby figs growing :D
Have a good day all
Di

Oh lovely Di - baby figs. :D

There's a house I go running past that has a huge fig tree right next to the wall which means every year loads of figs just fall to the ground.

They soon get picked up by the neighbours - I've done it myself as Don loves them.

It's very exciting Ally :D

And I bought Bb an apple tree the year before last, one of those small column-shaped ones; he was a bit disappointed that the first year you're not supposed to let them fruit, but there are two lovely-looking ones growing now :D

And our little wrens must be having/have had a second brood, they're in and out of their little house all the time :)
It's just above the French windows, which are to my left, so I get a really good view from here :)

Afternoon all, mixed day weatherwise, sun, cloud and the occasional shower. Poor Michael has bad tonsilitis, in the end they took him to the D Doc early this morning, so having him for a sleepover was cancelled - he asked his Mummy if we could stay in his house instead (which we had offered to do) but last night she slept with him in the spare room to be there when he threw up as he did several times, so felt it wasn't really an option for tonight, just in case. Then he suggested that maybe we could sleep in his bed, awwwwww. Miss Osc has gone to the wedding on her own, with the possibility that SIL may go to the reception later while we babysit, no matter what happens they are not staying away for the night as was the original plan. It's one of those weddings people have over here, getting married in a church in the city centre, then driving over an hour to Co. Wicklow for the reception, stupid, and even though the wedding was at 2pm, I bet they won't sit down to food until near 7pm. Very Irish, and sooooooo annoying. I think if it had not been one of Miss Osc's best friends getting married, she might not have gone at all.

So we had extra time today that we hadn't planned on, and I've had washing out, dried and ironed. Mr Osc has cut the grass and done some other stuff and later on we will head up to see the poor sick little man.

Good luck with your bungalow offer, Jen - hope you don't have to wait over the weekend to see if has been accepted! Our sale is trudging along, really really hoping for contracts signed this week as Miss Osc is going on hols on Wednesday, we are going on Friday, the estate agent went yesterday, and the buyers are going away next weekend - it would be great to have something solid in place but it's not looking that likely
