Evening all - dull most of the day, but not much rain, enough fell last night really to well water the gardens! I've had a lovely and busy day - this morning was Michael's last day at playschool, so they had their "sports" first, then they sang all their little songs for us. Oh goodness, cute isn't the word........tears in the eyes, soppy Granny time. I have to say I always loved the little school shows when Miss Osc was small too.
After that, Mr. Osc went to play golf and I headed out to a shopping centre to do the toiletries shopping for our holiday - not sure how a new phone falls into the toiletries category, but I
was due an upgrade
While driving there, I had one of those "counting my blessings and good to be alive" moments and realised I was feeling so well and happy. The mother of one of Miss Osc's friends was at the playschool today also, I knew that she has had Parkinsons for a long time, and more recently is slipping into dementia. I wondered whether or not to go and say hello, but Miss Osc was so I went with her. I told the mother who I was, and to my great delight she said "you've changed your hair" which would be true since she last saw me, so I was really pleased I had gone to say hello.
Looking forward to a footie-free evening!!
