Morning all :D

Just been round for the papers and it started to rain, okay not the heavy stuff, but even so...............

Fingers tightly crossed the messages are from the French couple Ton, hope you manage to access them soon.

Not much planned for us today, more phone calls booking viewings for next week, already scheduled to see eight Tues/Wed. Really must leave some time to sit along the sea front with an ice cream, oh and mustn't forget the fish and chips, they always taste better by the sea somehow.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Well that was hot and thirsty work  The pool wasn't hot enough for me   Maybe next month ;)

Apparently, our friends have sent us something, as a thank you, presuming flowers and the person delivering it has been trying to contact us - that is probably what the message is.

I've tried googling it - makes no sense either

Good evening all.................... weather here gone totally mad, yesterday 45 degrees today 50 and its only June. Today is the start of Ramadan so from dawn tomorrow until dusk no water, food, cigs etc for 40 days. How people cope is beyond me and work in this heat in kitchens, b'ars etc. Fortunately as not a Muslim it does not apply to me or TK as he is ''part time'' Muslim. does not do Ramadan

We are all lying around at present trying to find a bit of breeze :!: :!: :!: ............... No chance, quite scary actuallly

So if we survive the heat................ talk tomorrow............................

DK :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

Evening all - dull most of the day, but not much rain, enough fell last night really to well water the gardens! I've had a lovely and busy day - this morning was Michael's last day at playschool, so they had their "sports" first, then they sang all their little songs for us. Oh goodness, cute isn't the word........tears in the eyes, soppy Granny time. I have to say I always loved the little school shows when Miss Osc was small too.

After that, Mr. Osc went to play golf and I headed out to a shopping centre to do the toiletries shopping for our holiday - not sure how a new phone falls into the toiletries category, but I was due an upgrade  :D While driving there, I had one of those "counting my blessings and good to be alive" moments and realised I was feeling so well and happy. The mother of one of Miss Osc's friends was at the playschool today also, I knew that she has had Parkinsons for a long time, and more recently is slipping into dementia. I wondered whether or not to go and say hello, but Miss Osc was so I went with her. I told the mother who I was, and to my great delight she said "you've changed your hair" which would be true since she last saw me, so I was really pleased I had gone to say hello.

Looking forward to a footie-free evening!!

That sounds lovely Osc :)
And good for you, it's not nice for people when they're avoided because of embarrassment/not knowing what to say - generally speaking, all you need do is say hello, lovely to see you, as in your case sometimes remind them who you are, just nothings really :)

DT 50 degrees, bl**dy hell!! :o
