Morning all :D

Late up as usual

Not much planned for today. Expecting a client at 11.30 and then we'll need to pop down the road for more salad to go with the cold chicken, left over from yesterday, we're having for dinner later.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Afternoon all. Busy day at work for me today - we have our computer system back after a week so lots of catching up to do.

Off to the allotment later and then call in at the inlaws. Sister in law and family arrived on Saturday from NZ though we haven't seen them yet. Not sure if they are going to honour us with their presence at the in laws later or if they have more pressing matters to attend to.

Good afternoon all, it's bright and warm here. I've been to the gym and then walked Billy, now I'm waiting for the washing to dry so that I can iron it. I need to hoover too.

Just waiting to hear from Tom before I plan what to make for dinner, whether he'll be out or whether he'll be in for dinner and have M with him as well. She seems a lot more comfortable with us now which is nice :)

Have a good day all - glad B's visit to meet the pets went well Kaz!

Aw lovely to see you Loz, welcome 'home' 8-) ;) xxxx

Thanks Jo, yes she managed very well - three dogs (one of which is disabled), four cats - but she said it was a breeze compared to managing our two horrors, and I can well believe it ;)

Had a beautiful walk into town, the weather here today has been quite perfect :) I was in the nail place for two hours though  First of all they were heaving, so I had to wait for 20 minutes, and then they decided I really needed a new set (they were right) and that takes a lot longer than infills  It was baking in there, even with the doors wide open to the street

Looking forward to a quiet evening - I have an early start tomorrow ;)

I hope you all have a smashing time tomorrow :D

It's been a funny day - I bought and ate a cheese pastie at work before my lunch break so I could go with Tom and Donna to Lewis's school sports day, I knew I could only stay a short while but really wanted to see him in a race.....course his race wasn't till after I had to leave  :( Tom picked me up in my car so I could drive myself back and he got a lift back with Donna later on.

I am cross with him as he doesn't 'do' ill and has been running on his new running machine, with baaaad consequences!! Blimmin men!!! :? He really does not know how not tbe be active :| Even as I speak he is out with the jet wash cleaning both cars :|

*sigh*

(((Gal)))
There are men who think they can literally run away from/work off any illness or injury.
It comes from fear, obviously, but sad to say it's unlikely they can be changed/talked out of it...you can hope they'll learn, but apart from that, don't waste your own worry/energy where they don't ;)
A lot easier said than done I know, but basically it's a case of accepting them just as they are - and of course picking up the pieces if need be xx
