Morning all. A bit dull here at the moment.
I actually went to a milonga last night and Tangoed the night away :D First time in ages. I was a bit rusty, but it was nice to get out and meet up with friends. Still on the mend, but I think I'm getting there.
Nothing doing this morning, but having afternoon tea with a friend here later :D

Wishing everyone a good day and at least a little sunshine :D

Morning all; well afternoon actually - where does the time go? It's damp and dreary here but just as I type the sun seems to be trying to break through. I'm glad about that as the Giro d'Italia is starting in Northern Ireland this year and they will be passing through my town this afternoon, right in front of our house since we live on the seafront looking over the main coast road. My son has just been on the phone from England to say he has it set to tape so we have to be at the upstairs window as the cyclists pass by so he can play it back and see if he can spot the house and us. He and my grandson are biking freaks and usually take their annual holiday in France to coincide with the Tour. Everywhere is being painted pink, and our Norman castle has huge pink banners hanging from the walls. The City Hall in Belfast is floodlit pink and looks terrific.

Afternoon all. Was lovely here first thing this morning when I went for my ride but it's been hammering it down since about 9.30.

Nipped into town with Mick earlier to look at cushion flooring - have arranged for the other carpet people to come out and take a look on Friday.

Then I went with some friends, my mum and mil to our local hotel to listen to a talk by Fiona castle (Roy Castles wife) about de cluttering your life. Really enjoyed it and we had breakfast included in the price (only £3 each as organised and subsidised by the local church).

Now at home making Bolognaise before I fetch S from work, go to the library and pick up L from her friends.

Quiet night in tonight, avoiding Eurovision.

Afternoon all, it's bright here at the moment although there was a very heavy shower ten minutes ago. I've been to the gym and then John and I walked Billy when I got home. That was after Tom and I had had our weekly Saturday morning put your shoes away argument. He does his paper round and on coming home, kicks them off just inside the doorway and leaves them there. Depending on the position they're left in, it can be tricky to open the door when I get home and every single Saturday morning we have a huge argument about it. I hate shoes being left around anyway. He was especially unimpressed when I also mentioned that I'm sick of him leaving the kitchen cupboard doors open when he gets anything out of them  Lazy little sod!

I'm supposed to be taking him into Stafford to get some vinyl records this afternoon but not sure if that'll happen now due to the fact that he's not talking to me!

Have a good day all!

Afternoon all, we have sun, cloud and rain, sometimes at the same time  Today seems to be a "tired" day and I went back to bed after breakfast, although I didn't sleep. Just had my lunch and we are watching the cycling too - the weather is awful which is such a shame as Northern Ireland is gorgeous and would look fantastic on the telly. Paddy are you in Larne? Wave at us too please   The Giro is passing by about two miles from here tomorrow, but I wouldn't be able to walk too far or stand for too long, plus there is some football or other on ;) ;) Dan Martin took a terrible fall last night, interesting to just hear them say on tv that the op he needs was not immediately available in Belfast so he is having it in Dublin later today.

In a little while I want to go and buy some flowers for Miss Osc to bring when we go to hers for our dinner tomorrow, plus I need the walk too. Looking forward to the Eurovision tonight :P :P :P
