I think it really depends on where you live with them.... I get quite a bit of my cat food delivered via Yodel and have (touch wood) never had a problem. With my permission and at my request they leave the goods for me by my front door which is quite secluded from the road. Whereas with Parcelforce they won't leave it but will only either leave it with a neighbour or more common, they take it to the depot and then I have to go collect it. And usually it's quite bulky boxes which means the neighbours aren't overly happy

Yes I expect a lot is down to the efficiency of the actual courier, but Yodel do have a bad rep
