Very late getting going, just been round with E for the papers. It's not actually raining, it's very damp and threatening drizzle all the time, but the real reason for driving him to the shop is his knee, it's playing up a lot at the moment.

Planning a very lazy day, we're having rotisserie chicken and salad for dinner later, keeping it all very easy.

Oh poor E, Jen Mick's joints play up a fair bit these days, especially ankle, toe and knee. We suspected RA but that test was clear, might be gout but you need a test whilst having a flare up and it never seems to happen at the 'right' time I buy him cod liver oil and glucosamine but it's getting him to take the flipping things, it was hard enough impressing on him how important his bp pills and statins were, so have to pick my battles

A lovely morning - and some of the afternoon too

Bought some more tomato plants, then went to our coffee, for a beer. Some friends turned up, as did the olives, bread and cheese

So we sat there for about 3 hours with a few more beers
