Thank you all again. And just to clarify, the seizure had nothing to do with the bug/virus I have - it is now being referred to as gastroentiritus. This is the sole reason for me being so ill - my shattered immune system cannot cope with it as a normal person could, so it is indeed serious - but not connected with the seizure. The diet is very bland and we are struggling to find things I can eat that are totslly dairy free. I can't even have a splash of milk in coffee so I can't drink coffee. and I am only eating odd bites of things.

It is also exhausting being in pain all the time.

I think I must go back to bed.

Further bits: I can't drive for a year which is statutory, but my CT scans were clean and green with no adverse indications.

The Dr I saw yesterday actually said imo you contracted this illness in hospital,. Totally shocking isn't it in this day and age.

(((Cal))) having the right doctor makes such a difference and it sounds like the one you have is a good 'un. Re the pain, have you tried things acupuncture or hypnotherapy (Kaz could advise on that) to help you with it; it won't take it away obviously but could help ease and help you deal with it

as for picking up the bug in the hospital; I'm sadly not surprised at all

The pain is because the damage caused by the bug that got into me is not able to repair itself because I have damage anyway inside. Nothing will help the pain until I can get the right condition inside me to try and renew, I also still can't leave the house because the d&v although not regular still strikes when it wants to. Lack of food also doesn't help - although I truly can't face food. Its 3 weeks now.
