Morning all, just! Beautiful day here, breezy though. Houses over here have to have an energy rating survey done for a sale, so we had someone here doing that this morning. I just let her get on with it but she endeared herself to me by saying it is a lovely house Mr. Osc has just gone out to play golf, I am going for a walk, then facing into the ironing and more cleaning for the rest of the day - first open viewing tomorrow morning. Have a good day everyone whatever you have planned
Well looks like this will be our last full day at the beach, we'll be at the races tomorrow and out for lunch Sunday. Really can't believe how fast 9 weeks has gone
Part of me is thinking how nice it's going to be seeing the children again, the other part isn't looking forward to getting back to 'real' life. It's so relaxed and laid back here, Bajan time the locals call it, it's going to take a while even working up to go slow
They didn't turn up What is more they were never going to - they decided after making the appointment with D to go with the measurements that the chap who boarded up took on Sunday - he is a glazier - but for their own sweet reasons neglected to tell D that they wouldn't be coming! We didn't discover this until D chased it up this afternoon. She was understandably rather upset, so I've been there all day - I don't begrudge D one minute of my time but I very much resent the glass company being so neglectful
D's insurance company - who have actually been brilliant - have escalated a complaint
I've had a quote for having my staircase redecorated - she starts on Tuesday!! So I popped out to get the paint, 7.5 litres of Dulux matt and 2.5 litres of brilliant white gloss.....I'm excited already Also had a pop into town first and bought some baby wool to start knitting, but I don't have any patterns any more, which I didn't realise till I got home and went to look Since then have played with the tablet...... Nuff said....
Lewis is staying tonight but he isn't here yet If he doesn't come soon it will be bedtime
Hope you enjoy the last few days of your long break Jen - it sounds wonderful
