When they used to do what they called International Day at junior school, where they had to dress as a child from another country, I'd send them both in jeans and a top with some kind of US design on, an I *heart* NY t shirt for instance, and they'd say that they were dressed as children from the USA. They couldn't have been the only ones as after about 3 years they letter stated that pupils could no longer dress as US children
