Good afternoon all, the weather's alternating between bright and overcast here.

It's been a busy morning.I went to the gym and John went for a bike ride and we ran into each other when both on our way home so he walked with me. I had a shower, put some washing on, put the new dinner set we got from Ikea in the dishwasher, hung the washing on the line and then we went to Stafford to pick up my Fitbit. From there we drove to Lichfield. John's bought a new bike which was to be delivered to work, being a business address they never get Saturday deliveries. Except today he checked the tracker on Yodel's website and a delivery had been attempted and a card left. Without the card he couldn't rearrange the delivery so we went over to pick it up so he could hopefully get his bike delivered on Monday (like a kid at Christmas, he is). So...we pull up at his office, he walked towards the door and then realised he'd left his keys at home...but it's a glass door and he could see that there wasn't a card from Yodel. He said he had a feeling that the Yodel depot was nearby as the vans are always about in large numbers so we drove down a nearby industrial estate and sure enough it was there so he went in to see what was going on, 5 minutes later he was putting his bike in the back of the car.

Just having a bit of lunch now and then we're off out with Billy up the Chase for a long walk.

Di, I love that jacket!! Actually, I want that jacket  I love Joe Brown's clothing.

Di that is a gorgeous jacket 8-) :D :D

We had to go into town in the end, the jeans in the outlet were either not the right style or the wrong size - they had lots in 8's, 10's and 20's  That's the problem with outlet sometimes :? Still we got some nice ones in the main store in town :)

It is gorgeous out there, sunshine, blue sky and just for once no wind 8-) :D

Jo that wore me out reading it but I'm glad J got his bike 8-) :D

Oh well the important thing was to get the right jeans Kaz :)

That was lucky Jo, Yodel don't have a very good reputation do they, hope John gets to try it out :D

I loved the look of the jacket, they have a couple more similar. I went on the website to look, and in the 'outlet' bit found a flower corsage thingy. It's only a few bits of material sewn together and was originally £8.95
Oh - here it is http://www.joebrowns.co.uk/sp+Womens-ou ... sage+AD354

So I spent the next hour searching 'how to make fabric corsages' and the rest of the afternoon cutting scraps of fabric and making a single flower  Actually the flower took about 15 minutes, I had trouble with the middle - it's nothing like the ones in the picture :)
I didn't declutter any drawers but Bb's home so we've just had our coffee cupcakes :D
