Glad you don't feel unwell :D 8-)

My hair colour has come out rather well, I have been using a slightly darker/ashy blonde the last couple of times and it looks nice I think 8-) I had to do it this week, having those pics taken next week, and I couldn't have 'roots' :?

Good afternoon all, it's sunny here but cool and windy.

I've been to the gym and then taken Billy for a long walk. I'm debating whether to get a Fitbit to keep track of how far I'm walking, calorie usage etc but I know none of them are compatible with my phone or iPad as both are older models and I'm not sure I could be bothered connecting it to my laptop everytime I want to upload data. At the moment I'm using the Endomondo app on my phone, yesterday I walked over 9 miles (6 of those were with Billy) - and that's not taking account of the 75 minutes I spent on the treadmill at the gym. Problem is though that it wears the battery down more quickly.

Got some hoovering to do this afternoon, and I need to work out the menu for the next week before doing the weekly shop tonight.

Have a good day everyone!

Jo I've only ever used an ordinary pedometer when I've wanted to keep track, then if I want to know the calories burned log into myfitnesspal and enter the miles there.
Mostly though I didn't bother with that, it's not terribly relevant unless you're counting calories all the time anyway :)

Apps and things 'may' be slightly more accurate, but to me it's a bit like those clocks they advertise as being right to within 1 millisecond or something, what's the point?! :?

Yeah, I've used ordinary pedometers in the past with varying success. We sometimes go for a run and it'd be good to have something more accurate to be able to challenge myself (John doesn't need challenging with running), where I could see a history of previous runs too but I've not really got anywhere to put my phone when I run. Shame really because the Endomondo app is perfect, it even shows a map tracking where you've been.

Yes, fair enough, I think I might want to do something like that too if I ran :)

I just plod about, working out the rough mileage in my head   Still if I was running I'd want to know exactly how much I was burning  ;)

That and the 5:2 is definitely working, I saw someone in town I haven't seen for weeks and she said I looked slimmer, especially in the face :D :D 8-)

hi everyone

Well another day done at work, phew! Had a good day today as was with the school nurse team - i do love working with them :D Had one child who was really not wanting his injections but after a while talked him round and took him out of view to his peers and he had both of them - always feel good when that happens!

Managed to leave work a bit early as there was an open event at Amy's school so went along to her class for an hour, she was really pleased to see me as I had prepared her for me not making it :D :D :D

I have a meeting tonight at the Breakfast/After School Club as I am on their management committee as of last month, then I told Amy we will get a chippy for tea - i know its not healthy but its pay day and we deserve a treat ;)

Hope everyone is well :)
