Good morning all.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

Just back from a lovely walk in the park. The rain kept off for us and we met many other dog-walkers.

Father Christmas paid us a visit. :D :D :D Our dog is in heaven.

We had a fox in our garden when we got up. He seemed lost, poor thing. I wonder if he came on Santa's sleigh ?

We're getting ready to set off for our Christmas lunch at Meridan now.

Have a lovely day, everyone.

Merry Christmas everyone :)
We're having a lovely day, especially now the horrendous rain has stopped!

Santa did a good job, if I don't answer I'm probably lost in Nigel's kitchen diaries part 2 :D
We have carols on the tv, a glass of bucks fizz each and a lunch of nibbles - and the smoked salmon and prawns are all mine
:D

Happy Christmas everyone - from me and my ever-present box of tissues

Tom's gift to me was a streaming cold - for the second year running!

Turkey's in the oven, nothing else is cooked and my parents arrive in half an hour...and I just want to curl up and go to sleep. Bah humbug!

Thanks all, dinner actually turned out okay....Tom's had it much worse than me, he's slept on and off since Friday evening and still isn't properly eating, he just ate a bit of his dinner as he and I sat in quarantine corner in the kitchen, aka the breakfast bar, whilst everyone else was at the table. We're now on quarantine couch in the lounge. As well as the sheer exhaustion he's also had a nasty cough and sore throat and now the streaming cold, I've managed to bypass all of that and have just gone straight to the sneezes.

Saundra, I hope you feel better soon - I only seem to get sick on special occasions and holidays

Oh Jo what a shame. Really hope you both feel better tomorrow.
Bb now reading his book (Lee Child), I'm watching the military wives choir programme with a glass of port and all's well in this little part of the world :)
