What a nuisance Saundra. My parents had their boiler and fire serviced a few weeks before Christmas and when they came to switch the fire on after he'd gone it wouldn't click on. It turned out that the cover hadn't been out back on properly so the switch wouldn't work. Dad had to do that though as the rang they fella several times over the course of a few days and despite his promises, he never went back to put it right. Supposed to be a reputable local family business too

Afternoon all, we've had a pretty busy few days so I haven't been around. Spent the last two days covering a weekend ballroom dancing workshop for the Irish Dance Council, Mr. Osc taking lots of photos and videos to put on our website, FB page and their FB page too. It was all very successful, the format was that 18 different dance teachers did workshops on different aspects of dancing, children on Saturday and adults and seniors yesterday. Everyone had a great time.

So today I'm actually pretty tired and wonder if I have a bit of a sinus infection as my head is feeling very heavy. The weather is not too bad, windy but haven't had much rain - over on the West coast they are having a terrible time. We've taken down the tree and all the decorations and I've hoovered all downstairs. Now I need to go to the library and post office, then come back and tackle some ironing. We are off to Blackpool (again  ) on Friday, this time not dancing ourselves but supporting our friends who will be competing in a big competition there, so need to get h/work and ironing up to date.

Safe journey to Jen and E. Loz, as Di says not an anniversary to celebrate, but perhaps celebrate your amazing coping skills because you've been fantastic. Enjoy the rest of your day everyone :)

Loz you have been strong about your hearing loss, and you should be proud of yourself for finding something positive in it all and promoting the hearing loop issue 8-) :) :) xxxxxx

Well it's wild and windy, but not wet, out there so I walked into town, had a cuppa and then walked back - just for the slightly over 3 mile walk
