Afternoon all, fairly bright and sunny here although chilly. Can't seem to get myself moving at all - my cold now seems to have taken up residence in my sinuses and I have very little energy. If things don't improve I might go to the doctor later in the week. Mr. Osc has gone to play golf, I need to change our bedlinen and do some ironing, but would rather just have a sleep  One bright spot in the day, the post brought a letter from the Revenue saying that Mr. Osc is going to get a tax refund of almost €2,000  :D :D :D :D Have a good day everyone :)

Oh how lovely Osc! :D 8-) :kick:

I went out to post a parcel, but it was so miserable and cold, with that rain that gets under your umbrella and right into your bones! So I got the bus there and back - not much good on the exercise front really

Change of plan here.

I was just eating breakfast when my friend texted, would I go down to her new flat (she's not moved in yet  ) and can I go to Tavira with her and then we can walk the dogs.

So I left at 10.00 this morning and just walked back in

Had to take one of her cats to the vets - they had cheap Christmas cards on sale, so I bought 4, then back to her place, dropped off cat, collected dogs, had coffee by the beach then a lovely long walk.

No time for pork stew - the butcher doesn't open again until 4, so Grumpy is having something from the freezer, probably chilli and I'll have pasta.

I bought a quiche and we'll have jacket spuds with it, I think, and some sort of veg. Probably frozen peas

Good afternoon everybody.
After the dull start this morning with some rain, I can now see blue sky.
Debih, do you have a big brass pan for making the jam? My mother had one and I loved scrapping it when she had emptied the jam out.
