Morning all!
It's wet and windy here too!
John's bused it into work today as they're having drinks after work - the secretary's been there for 20 years now and someone is leaving. I said I'd walk Billy to meet him off the bus tonight but I'm regretting it now - it's over an hour's walk away to the bus stop he's getting off at. Well, there is one closer but that means walking into the town centre on a Friday night which I don't fancy as it's "Drunk Central" and I'd also have to walk past the dodgy estate which I'd rather not do after dark because gangs hang around there. At least my parents live on the route I'll have to take so I can go in for a cuppa :)

Hope your day gets better Debbie! That was quite a near miss with the branch :o

Enjoy the festival Kaz! Fingers crossed that you get the chance to get your book signed :)

Billy loves it when it's windy too

Have a good day everyone!

Afternoon all, fairly windy here too, and although it was sunny earlier, it's now clouded over and looks potentially rainy :( Mr.Osc has gone to play golf, he'll be blown around the golf course  I've just put some buns in (suppose I should call them cupcakes now  ) and then will make another assault on the ironing mountain this afternoon.

This evening we are babysitting because Miss Osc and SIL are going to the Late Late Show chat show - they may show Michael's video and if they do, they will be talking to them!! (Video now just under 124,000 views   ) Michael is still oblivious thank goodness. Have a good day everyone, and hold on to your hats if you're out and about :)

Yes it's RTE1, you might get it on other programmes? We get it on Sky101 here, but I don't think you will get it on that over in England.

I used to watch the show when we very first got Sky which would be at least 20 years ago...not sure if it's still shown now.

Afternoon all :D

Enjoy your date with Philippa Gregory kaz, hope you manage to get your book signed.

The Late Late Show brings back memories osc. Youngest daughter appeared on it two years running when she was a lot younger, Gay Byrne was the host back then.

Had a busy morning, popped out first thing to grab a couple of the M&S meal deals, always extra good value when they have the rotisserie chickens on offer. In the middle of a mountain of laundry right now, want to get it all out of the way before tomorrow and the invasion.

Hope you all have a good day :D
