Hello again :D

We're just back from the most glorious walk along the front at Milford - it's a huge drop in temperature but really lovely.
Minnie's ball sunk but we found a stick and she had lots of swims and sploshes, she's doing really well now - no sign of a limp/lollop, and far less panting too :D Definitely back to being a Superstar :D

  why did i go for a meds check totally pointless
first of all dr smilled at me
then realised he had a trainie dr with him
then he asked are you ok
yes i replied any side effects of your meds he asked
no idea i said because everything i ever have wrong is due to my age /my diabetis /or im a widow
ho he said
are you testing your blood sugar no i said
nurse wont give me testing strips or meter this has been going on foe 5 years
its not the practices policy to give them to diabetics
but i said you could have them he says
tell the nurse then i said
so he give me a note to take to the nurse in a week or to time (saying i can have a testing kite and strips)but will i get them ?????????????????????
the trainie dr just sate there open mouthed
good morning i said and walked out
10.00 taxi to pay
i do actually buy testing strips on amazone but thats not the point
end of my rant

Good afternoon all! It's sunny but oh so cold and windy here!
The gym warmed me up though and once I got home Billy and I had a gorgeous long walk through the woods and over the common, a few squirrels were barked at when they had the nerve to run up trees....

I've got some housework to do, and will do the shopping tonight.

Di, I think you did the right thing cancelling today's appointment. How's Bb now?

Kaz, I go crazy too if I'm stuck indoors. Have a lovely evening with Becks, I bet she's itching to see the pups!

Have a lovely day everyone!!

He's not bad thanks Jo, but hasn't tried driving after all yet. There's still a small disc of this gas ball to go, so he's phoned the gp for another certificate (the hospital one lasted until today). He's asked for one for a week, hoping that will be enough.
So do I  :D

Good luck Saundra - if she still says no ask her to phone the dr while you're there?
