Morning all
Starting to feel better. At least I can breath through my nose now. Just need to get rid of this nausea next and I'll be right as rain.
Took Oliver to swimming this morning. Last thing I wanted to do while being sick. He swims at the Northern Arena, and they were taking photos today for some reason I didn't quite catch, and then they all turned up on facebook this afternoon. It turns out its for some competition needing likes to win. but anyway, i'm not trying to win it. So if you want to have a look it's on my timeline, or it's under the Northern arena's photo's. but there's so many there..... he has orange shorts on, bright yellow goggles, and i'm wearing a blue rash suit on as I was having a togs issue this morning lol. not sure if this link will work, but we are 6th row, 2nd from the left. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.669262213086909.1073741839.118772158135920&type=3 I'll try and pilfer the photo and put it on here.

so happy in fact that that photo was taken on his first solo swim. i'm hovering worried that he might breath in some water as he hasn't done that before and he swum a hell of a long way for a first attempt. he had come from well before that hoop, through there and made it to the side of the pool!!

They sort of did Kaz, but it was all verbal, and after we were in the pool. Oliver was being a stone and trying to sit on the bottom, and I was trying to stop him from drowning himself, so wasn't really paying too much attention. but I remember her saying if you don't want them taken, talk to the photographer.

I remember doing spring board diving at crystal palace in London once. Hubby wanted to take some photo's of me, he had to sign something at reception, then talk to every parent on the sidelines as it was all kids diving and me and my friend. we were just on 30 at the time, and a couple of the parents were surprised we were married. they thought I was the child. lol. yay for me, not sure how hubby felt. but yeah, what a rigmarole it was.

We have signs up in our public pools saying no photography, but I think it's more there so they can ask a suspicious person to leave rather than actually stop parents taking a photo of their child.

Change of plan here - I've done the ironing - with that new iron - phew, far too hot in this weather, so we're going for a stroll down ot the village and sit in the shade with a beer or 6

Afternoon all - had the abdominal ultrasound this morning and the guy doing it said he could not see anything of concern, and no obvious gallstones, so that's good. The doc will have the results tomorrow and in the meantime, I am feeling very much better, still sore tummy but nothing like it was so hopefully I might be able to talk her out of sending me for an endoscopy Mr. Osc collected Michael from playschool this morning as I wasn't sure when I would be back (although I was back in loads of time) and apparently he told the people in the playschool with great pride this morning that his grandad would be collecting him awwww. Heading off to Lidl soon so as it is raining Michael will probably come with me, because he can't play golf in the garden. He and Mr. Osc are currently playing hide-and-seek upstairs - Michael is always so easy to find as he laughs his little head off while he is hiding Hope Lissie's OH got on ok at the hospital, sending more vibes to Bb, and Loz, hope you have a lovely break in Devon.
