Ria, I'm going to read up on Ephesus, it looks so interesting. We've been to Rome and it is a super city - the fountain you mention is the Trevi fountain (which actually isn't at the Spanish Steps ) and we did the obligatory throwing in of a coin over the shoulder. Mr. Osc was photographing me doing it and kept telling me I was doing it wrong (for the purposes of the photo ) because I was......er.....moving The port of Rome is Civitavecchia, which is about an hour outside Rome, our cruise last year went from there as well, so we won't actually be in Rome.
