hello all

Was a bit cooler here this morning but by 1pm the sun came out and it was roasty toasty, my dad got in his car at 7pm last night and the temp said 33 degrees it has been so hot and it is AMAZING!!

I had to borrow a fan from my parents as no shops had any in stock, so I got a sleep last night, had the fan on all night next to my bed!!

I am half way through week 9 of my placement, 3 more after this week, and yesterday got my letter about my new job so sent away the disclosure form and occupational health form today, once they have been done I will get an official 'offer' lol, although my start date is to be 15th August, I get home from Majorca on the 13th, lol!!

Still in shock about it all!

Di, sorry to hear that you're still in pain

Jen, I hope Mr J's appointment went well.

It's been quite a bit cooler here today, and cloudy, so I've managed to get plenty of jobs done rather than waiting for it to cool down at night. Some of our neighbours have flown to Florida today and as much as I love the US I'm thinking rather them than me - it'll be SOOOOO hot!!!

Poll, I've been everywhere looking for battery handheld fans for Tom and myself today and couldn't get then anywhere - we're off to London on Monday for the day and the tube will be hellish in these temps.

Not long until you start your job!!

aw its not good is it Jo, I couldn't believe how warm it has been the last few nights - I was going to suggest ebay to you, but not sure you would get them in time for Monday, you could try but might have to pay extra for quick delivery?!

Yeah, I think I'm going to have to do that - we should have some somewhere though, I was always buying them for the boys when they were younger

Is Amy enjoying the school holiday? It makes a change to have nice weather!

yeah Jo, Amy is having a great time being off school, can't believe how nice the weather has been for her, last year was a different story (and the year before that lol!) , she has been playing in her paddling pool at my mum & dads, and they have had her at the beach good times!
