I bought a very warm down-filled coat for the Winter, it saw me through the snow... I wore it last night when I took Billy for his late night walk, along with gloves and a scarf...
Been for a long outing this morning. My wife persuaded me to put on my winter woolies but I was still blinking cold - colder than I have felt for many a year. Still, it will soon be Summer.
Have a nice day, but if you do go out, wrap up warm.
It's been the coldest spring since 1979 apparently
I changed my plans completely as I had been planning to nip to town on Monday for a haircut then remembered it was a BH, so thought I'd better go today instead Supercuts don't do appointments, you just walk in and Fridays are a complete no-no in there as they get very busy, so it was today or wait until late next week as I'm working on Tuesday! Anyhow I had my hair cut, bought a very very nice linen jacket for about a third of the full price in the M&S outlet, and got some food shop on the way home
My washing nearly dried despite the dire weather (short sharp showers and a strong wind) and now the sun is out This evening is set to be dry (allegedly) so I'll plant my tubs up then
very cold here today - as the old saying goes 'never cast a clout until may is out' - translated as don't get rid of your warm clothes until May has been and gone!
SO TRUE!
I have my heating on now and am sitting here very cold!
I have had another good day today at placement, and can hardly believe after tomorrow I will have been there 2 weeks! 10 weeks to go - the countdown is on!
