Thanks Jan, it’s been an awful few months for them here. So many people saying they’re repeatedly getting ill (like me, I’ve had the lurgy in Nov, Jan and now) or it’s lingering for weeks.
John’s one of those people who rarely catches anything but he’s on his second cold this year.

Hope you’re doing better now x

Thanks Jo. He's even put a little weight back on. :)

John was very wise to take the sedation option. I had an endoscopy just before lockdown, without sedation, and it was awful!. :( Sorry you've both been ill. :( xx

That really is fantastic and shows that the insulin is doing it’s thing. Such a relief for you all :Hi:

Bill was around 24kg before he became diabetic but dropped to 15kg, we were so chuffed when he started gaining again and we got him back up to 20kg.

Blimey, you were brave but having said that I’d chicken out of sedation because of the need for a cannula, they really freak me out. That comes from a time 23 years ago when an A&E doctor couldnt find a vein in my hand to insert one but kept trying in the same place regardless.

Ah, I have had trouble with cannulas in the past Jo, but honestly having that endoscope down was awful. I nearly jumped off the table, the nurse had to hold my hand

We are pleased with Fraggle, he lost around 4kg and as a small dog that was a huge loss for.him - any gain is a win :Hi:
