Oh dear, it's not likely to end well :(

Evening everyone :)

Lots of posts so will just send a wave to all! I've been out since this morning, and not long got home. Out with Mick for breakfast, round to D's at lunchtime, then round to Em's for a cuppa this afternoon, as she's off to Barbados tomorrow for ten days! Lucky thing! :D Mick dropped me up there, and I walked home which was good exercise as it's about 2km door to door 8-)

Love to all xx

Evening all, a lovely sunny morning turned into a very rainy afternoon.

I’ve been trying to get some long walks in every day, yesterday I went around the common. It was lovely in the sun but so muddy. Last Winter it was trashed by heavy machinery cutting down trees. Some of the paths were then improved, though many lost for good, and it’s been better for walking but now they’re back cutting trees down again and it’s deep deep mud and 18” tyre ruts in places.

Today I walked to town and back, that’s 4 miles in total. I needed wrapping paper for Tom’s birthday presents. This afternoon I’ve fought with a roll of wrapping paper and the enormous box containing the mirror we’ve bought him for in his hall

Hi all, hoping you are having a good day, had a great Christmas and New Year. Mine is same ole same ole, work in the house in the morning and at my desk for work in the afternoon/night.

We are just completing the master en suite for the final and new, master bedroom. I'm working on the bedroom floor, will get onto walls from tomorrow as I have to get the rest of the second layer of flooring on Sunday.

I took myself off and decided not to get irritated over the whole US run up to inauguration. I recognised I was being antisocial so decided to take my antisocial feelings away. A bit of downtime and some distance helps.

Anyway hope everyone is doing well. I'll put a post on the health board about the diet etc then get down to reading some of the news.
