[rant] I bought four 1st class stamps yesterday - £6.60! The nice lady on the kiosk in Tesco asked if I wanted a book of eight, but I said I had no intention of taking out another mortgage...... [/rant]

I know, it's madness isn't it. I know costs of everything have gone up, and I wouldn't mind paying that amount, if first class still meant first class, ie next day delivery. But it doesn't anymore

it's such a shame I love sending cards to friends and family but it's so dear plus they take days to arrive I tend to buy my stamps online like I did last year then they went up I could have sent them back but couldn't be bothered my fault

I always send post second class now.
Think it must’ve been this time last year, I posted something to my friend at around 5pm in the main post box - second class - and she texted me at 11am the next morning to say it’d arrived!
