Well, I am back with my new working keyboard on the laptop so that I can make intelligible missives to you all... don't ask.
Another one here who will be having a mid-afternoon meal on Christmas Day - the morning is for the children. None of us like turkey so we will be having goose (hooray!

) and Yorkshires.. There will be seven adults, grans, gramps and step-gramp, plus mum and dad. Goose is quite rich so you do not need much of it so we should be OK. The Christmas pudding will be Irish "Plum or Figgy Pudding" - it has rum, brandy and whiskey in it so has quite a kick - sometimes Guinness. It is made a month ahead so that the flavours develop.
After the meal we will sit down to watch Wallace and Gromit then the grandchildren will go to bed. I'll then go home to catch Gavin & Stacey, or not.
