My Mom was the same, my Dad did nothing but of course he’s had to learn to do these things in the last two years. Cooking, cleaning, bill paying, banking…he was clueless.
If ever my Mom went out anywhere and he had sort out his own meals he’d just have biscuits.

Glad to hear it all went well, Jan, and yes, please do take things easy. Can Grumpy even take direction? I’m sure Molly will turn up soon, she’ll be sulking because you went away. I know if I am out of action that at least Edward won’t starve and he can be instructed on other stuff.

We think Molly was frightened off, as all her bowls were scattered - and empty.

She came back last night and has done nothing but eat

He can cook for himself Osc, he'd eat it, I wouldn't  I like all my food on a plate at the same time and hot. He tendss to lump everything together and heat up.

He's rubbish at being asked to do things - I'll just be a minute, he says. Meanwhile, the bowl of cold water filling up with hot in the sink needs to be moved now, not in a minute.

His next trial is hanging the washing out
