I lost 4lbs this week! Possibly as I’ve been off my food a bit, so not snacking

Jen, you’re right, I know. I did actually see the GP about it last year but it was rather odd as X-ray showed up OA in my right hip, whereas all the pain and stiffness is in the left one. I think they read the results wrong That combined with the very long wait for physio meant I just left it :?

I think I need to go back and push it this time, and not be brushed off

That was a waste of an afternoon.

My hernia seemed to be sticking out more than normal and was quite sore, so Grumpy thought it best we go to urgençia in Castro Verde, rather than wait until tomorrow morning.

Three hours later :o  I got seen.

I appreciate that the few who went straight in were more of an emergency than me, but those chairs are really uncomfortable

I was in and out rather quickly, as all he did was push down hard, told me how to massage it again, if it happens again and off you go. Come back again if it happens again.

Erm, no thanks. That was four hours wasted

We've had sunshine, rain and hailstones today  Oh and wind

Oh Jan, that's awful, I'm shocked they sent you home without any help. I hope it's not too sore now xx

Think the poor doc - and there was only one - was rather overstretched. I've never seen the urgençia that busy.

And I couldn't understand him, he had a dreadful accent. I could understand one word in four  One of the nurses had to come in to translate and I understood her perfectly  I think he was foreign, he accent was so bad.
