Good afternoon everyone.
We are clearing the small bedroom at the front of the house, ready for Steve the painter who should be coming soon.
This has involved demolishing a desk and a book case, both of which were so heavy they could probably have stopped a bullet.
MrsC has done great work and I demolished the book case with a trusty Barnsley screwdriver (a 4lb lump hammer).
Two trips to the dump later we only have the back of the book case left and the carpet, which was very dusty and is now cut up and bagged ready for another tip run tomorrow.
The weather is grim; grey, dull and damp. It's been the sort of day that never gets properly light.
Our son is up in berwick on Tweed with his girlfriend, I hope it's a bit sunnier up there!
Have a good day all.

Good afternoon everyone :)

It's a bright autumn day here. Have been to the Orbital shopping centre in Swindon, with Emma. She had an order to return to New Look and we don't have one here any more. It made a change to go somewhere different for our Monday out :)

Love to all :) xx
