Might pop down the bar later, not been this week, so far, they'll be missing us

It was pouring down until 9ish so Bill had a later than normal walk. It’s been sunny since but is starting to cloud over again now. I was only saying to John last night that it’s what I call meteor week next week, when the Perseid meteor shower peaks and we usually sit out every night to watch but I’m not optimistic of being able to do that this year!

It's been belting down here Beyond fed up with the interminable rain here Met my friend J for a cuppa, then bought a few bits for Becky - it's her birthday on Friday (28!!!!) We're giving her money, for her Australia fund, but it's just a few bits to unwrap

Just had an email to say I have got refund for the train ticets which i did not use on Tuesday.
Took some time filling in the form but worth the effort.
Will check my bank and creditcard accounts as it does not say how it is being refunded.

Well local tv news state we have had the most rain in the country today it's still raining
Plus 5 local beaches have red flags for no swimming because of sewage in the sea because of the rain run of on to the beaches happens every time after rain not good
