Have bought two packs of C cards from a local Hospice charity shop.
May need some more. A doing a list of peopleI will have to send them to. Am making sure I have the names and addresses correct.
Will probably get invuted out for dinner on Christmas day so will not have tobuy anthing special.
Will buy a small pudding which wil last at least three days.

Three heavy and hand knit 100% woolly jumpers, Fairisle / Nordic style, are on their way to me - £45 a pop - on eBay.

The quality is unknown but they get 4.5 stars and are half the price, or more, than the Hight St stores. If they only last this autumn and winter they will do for me.

Wahing them should be fun. Pure soap is almost as expensive as the jumpers!

They sound nice Frank! Wash them in warm water and Woolite, then roll them up in a towel - like a Swiss roll - to squeeze out as much water as possible, then dry flat.

Too many chemicals in Woolite, Kaz. It would fire off my pruritis, hence my search for soap flakes like Lux or similar.

I have a mesh drying tray for woolens that is as old as the hils.

Thanks, Ria, interesting as I had never heard of them.

I will be washing by hand in warm water as they will not get "dirty", as such, just picking up day-to-day smells.

Jo, I can't find them anywhere. We always had a box under the sink.

I looked on Amazon for you, Frank. No luck, so I think we can safely say not available any more :(
