More ratty news

We found a dead one tastefully laid out on our patio one morning (presumably a gift from a local feline )

Ossie, our first cat Kipper was a Holy terror where rodents were concerned. When he was barely more than a kitten he brought an eighteen inch rat home. Fortunately it was dead. Also we reckon it was too big for him to get it through the cat flap and give it to us as a present!

When we were out and about in the woods our Alsatian, Max, would bring us chestnuts (not conkers) and drop them at our feet - they were for him and us!

My mum had two cats, one loved to catch moths, one was so big we thought it was a bat and the other loved a pigeon or even once a flipping seagull

At the hotel here there are a lot of feral cats. A few nights ago they were dining on rat.

At home in France we have a stream that runs along the bottom of the garden. We used to get rats in the workshop until 9 feral cats took up residence. All local rats were cleaned out.

Suff gets ratty if the cats don't play nicely.

He's an ex Pongo so he knows what this ex Crabfat means.

About four years ago we suddenly had mice in the house. They were even running across the beds upstairs as wel as in the rooms downstair.
Got the local council to come out who put bait down in several places. It took three visits before there was no evedence of the mice coming back
Have also bought electronic devices which plug into a socket and emit a noise which scares them off. Theseare permantly plugged in both
downstairs and upstairs. Supposed to stop spiders as well but I still get cobwebs.

Not sen any rats but there are several cats which roam in the crescent.

Our Oscar used to catch moths too, but also was very good at catching and bringing in vicious - stones
