Morning all :D

The day started a bit dull and overcast, the sun's coming out now.

Very excited, we're off to see Elvis this afternoon. I was a huge fan and the film's had fantastic reviews, can't wait. It's 12 years ago today we were in Hawaii. It's one of our favourite holidays, while there we spent a day at the Polynesian Centre and had a photo taken of us sitting where Elvis was filmed in Blue Hawaii, lovely memories.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Out very early as Mick had an early opticians appointment, and I took advantage of a lift into town. The traffic was terrible, half the city roads seem to be having roadworks at the minute, plus there is a huge regeneration project going on in the centre - not before time really! :? Mick made his appointment on time, and I picked up my new specs, then met my friend J for a cuppa. Mick joined us afterwards, then he dropped me off at D's. It was spitting rain as I walked home, but it's stopped now, so I've taken a chance and hung some washing out :cute:

Ally, I do hope you manage to get your plane - safe journey! :) xxx

Love to all :) xxx

Well, best laid plans and all that

The wind has been hooley force all day and as the water in pool was colder than yesterday, we popped down the bar, for something to do. As you do ;)

Jan and Joaquim had just turned up too  He had a very rare day off and they were just about to ring us, so we had a lovely couple of hours chatting and sorting things out. As in, for my birthday, we're all going out :Hi: Not for his, he's on his way to France for a couple of days, lucky lad.

Kaz, those sunglasses look lovely. Have you thought of a chain for them?

BBQ was lush, white bean thingy was ok, not my favourite, but Grumpy likes it.

Still blowy
