Good morning all, it was lashing rain earlier but it's gradually clearing away now. Michael arrived just before 9am, excited about his sleepover here tonight! He really liked the dolls house and his Mummy was pretty charmed, I reckon she would have been happy to sit there and play with it for a couple of hours  Michael has already "helped" Mr. Osc to wash the windows, and will help me with the shopping in Lidl later. Mr. Osc is going to play golf around midday, and will then have to play it with Michael when he gets back, they are already playing it now! I have stuff to do around the house getting ready for a visitor coming for a few days on Sunday, and no doubt Michael will help me with all of that, or at least provide a running commentary :D

Ally and Paddypix, have a lovely mini-meet - Paddy, you and I should really try to meet up here too. I'm looking forward to meeting Ally in June in Birmingham, why don't you try and get over for that meet? Have a good day everyone.

Just back from Malage and my mini-meet with Ally. She is such a lovely person and we had a right old chat over coffee and have arranged to meet for cocktails next time I'm on the Costa. She has a photo taken by the waiter which she will post later on. It was great to meet up in real life.

Osc, we must really make the effort to meet sometime since we are both on the same patch of ground. I know you have already met a mutual friend, Nightnurse, so maybe we could organise for all three of us to meet up sometime, perhaps in Dublin.

Your house is lovely Kaz. I hope the landscaping goes well.

Good afternoon all!
It's dull and windy here, still quite mild though.

I've been to the gym and walked Billy over the common, and the washing is now whizzing around on the line. Hopefully the forecast showers won't be too heavy.

Frank Turner was, as usual, outstanding last night :D We had such a great time. One song involved everyone jogging on the spot (no idea why because it's got nothing to do with running) while another always requires everyone to sit on the floor and then jump up and dance like crazy at a certain point of the song. It was Tom's first time seeing a full show of his, he saw him about 3 years ago when he played a short set supporting Green Day but a proper headlining show is totally different from a support set and he loved it. Nice to see so many youngsters there supporting and enjoying a real musician who writes his own songs rather than the manufactured rubbish that Simon Cowell overloads the charts with.

Kaz, that's going to look lovely!

Osc, it sounds like Michael could be a future golf champion, he certainly gets lots of practice!

That's true, met Nightnurse some years back during a Femail Belfast meet - she was lovely and her hubby too. That sounds like a good plan, let's try and do it this year. Glad you had a good time with Ally :D

LOL, Kaz, I was just going to ask you to post a pic, but you beat me to it! Great minds think alike, I guess. :D

It's very chilly here today. The temps were supposed to rise so I didn't wear my winter coat to work this morning, but it's been FREEZING all day and now I wish I had. My boss and everyone else is out of the office today, so it's been a quiet day for me. Now I've got just one more day before I take a week off to visit my family in Florida. I am soooo looking forward to it! :D :D 8-)
