Loz, we're on day 2 now and both trees are still standing....and I realise I've probably spoken too soon now

Mine is going to be a bit bare this year to start with.... I have some really pretty pure glass bauble type things but as I don't know how Ava my new cat / kitten (she's 7 months old) will react; I'm limiting myself to plain silver and red plastic baubles with lots and lots of lights instead :( I'd hate to have a run to the emergency vet to get glass out of paw pads

Hopefully though she'll behave and I'll be able to 'tart' up the tree after all

Don't think I ever had a cat that didn't climb the tree :D

Yes pictures is a good idea, they will decorate our new board :D
Our tree has looked the same for the last few years, so with a new tree it will need a new picture :)

We usually put the one in the dining room up this weekend coming but as half the kitchen is still in there it will be a little later this year. The girls are desperate for it not to be too late as that is the one that they hang all the chocolates on.

The one in the lounge will probably go up on 15 December - in time for the the village children's party on 16 December.

I usually really look forward to putting the decorations up but I'm not this year - we have too much other stuff all over the place without the added complication of Christmas stuff!

Mine is one of those fibre-optic sparkly things about 2 1/2ft high. The baubles and deccies are already stuck on... all I have to do is plug it in. :D

Santa is climbing out of a snowy chimney with his sack. His eyes glow and he "Ho" Ho! Hos!" from time to time.... if I put new batteries in. :o ;)

Each at either side of the fireplace.

He's one of those proximity things. When you walk past his heads rock, his eyes twinkle and he sings out "Ho, Ho, Ho"

I want to beat the living daylights out of him with a cricket bat.... but I think Michael has mine down in Oxford.

Kaz, M has a PM btw.
