Morning all :D Quite a nice day here, but not as sunny as the weekend. I still need to get back into the garden and weed the other side of the lavender path we have (sounds more impressive than it is  ). I'm waiting in for a delivery of stone and railway sleepers for a bedding and raised patio we are going to build. Well I say we, but D will be doing the work while I stand and point ;)
Glad to hear Minnie is doing well Di. Must be lovely to have her running around again.
Hope you find the shorts you want Kaz...I don't do shorts
Have a good day everyone :D

Grrrrrr, why is it when I log in using my phone, type a whole bit and then press submit - it asks me to log in again and I've lost all I typed

Anyway......good morning all, we have a day's work done already! Been filling a skip since 8.30am and had it done by 11am - however we have to do the same again tomorrow because "someone" airily maintained that we would fit it all into a mid sized skip, instead of the bigger one   But the error has been admitted so I've said nothing Image While we were there a young man came along looking for metal, he got some from us before, so that got rid of more stuff. He has also taken a lot of old mirrors as he gives them to a man in the butcher shop who trades at car boot sales at the weekends!

This afternoon, two women are coming from the planning authority to inspect the place, one is the planning officer dealing with our application and the other is the conservation officer, apparently we just let them do their thing and say nothing! I need to have a shower, then get a bed etc. ready for a visitor who is coming for a few days on Sunday. Also need to start on the ironing, so today's a busy day! Have a good day everyone :)

Neither do I usually - I don't really have the figure for them (chunky legs) but on holiday last year in Corfu I realised there were always going to be people thinner than me (the French people and some of the English) but equally many more rather bigger (the Germans and more of the English) - so now I think s@ddit and wear what I like

Lissie I bought a pair of those white tailored just above knee-length ones in Debenhams, so thank you for the link :) I also went on to Asda afterwards and got a pair of more casual ones really cheap - so I am well sorted now 8-)
