We popped down to the bar, for a coffee, dropping off rubbish bags on the way and had a lot of post :Hi:

Three Christmas cards in one day :Hi:

Sun and cloud still, but very mild.

We're heading to Pingo in the morning Jen, early, for the last bits and bobs.

We've both been coughing quite a lot over the last few days and have put it down to either the wood or the fire :shock:

So we'll be using the free-standing fire from now on.

Hair cut this afternoon, Grumpy will be doing it 8-)

Good afternoon everybody.

It has been dull all day. Went to Tesco before breakfast. Then went to town. The bus I should have caught was cancelled. So I had a coffee and toasted tea cake when I arrived in town. Stopped to have my hair cut on the way home.
Have had a relaxing afternoon.

A final trip out before Christmas this morning, to the pharmacy to pick up the monthly prescriptions. It was decidedly chilly walking up there along the riverbank path.

I remembered to take the QR code I'd printed out, but they had a big sign up saying they'd got no lateral flow test kits.

So we're all done now, larder as full as it can be, and we're all ready for a quiet Xmas weekend.

Cruiser, what with Covid and everything, I haven't had a haircut since the summer. I look more like Boris than Boris ....
