The weather here is absolutely foul.
We've had heavy sleet, and just now hail stones. They are piled up on the ground.

We had sun and clear skies until 2ish, it started to rain around 4, we had a really heavy hail storm not long back and now we’ve got thunder and lightning

Hope Harry’s first shift went well!

We're bonkers and it took a long time to warm, Sat outside the bar, all wrapped up, but spent too long out in the cold.

Fire roaring, had a snooze, well, I was awake at 4,00 again  keema curry wasn't quite right, okay, but I'll add more spice next time.

Hope Harry enjoyed his first day, probably not, always terrifying, your first day.

It went very well thanks Jo, and Jan :D He likes the people, and he was on checkouts, which he enjoys!

The main thing is that he got the mix-up over his hours sorted - he signed a contract for 7.5hrs, with the expectation of working about 20, but when he went for his induction on Wednesday they gave him his shift pattern with 40 hours on  That's too much, he was getting stressed worrying about it, but today he got it sorted - three 9hr days, which is fine :D
