We run a pretty tight ship food wise. Main tins are tomatoes, kidney and canellini beans, and they get replaced in the next week’s shopping when used. With porridge, flour, dried fruit, pasta, rice, caster sugar etc.- when a packet is opened and emptied into its container, it goes on next week’s list, that applies to tea and coffee too. We have two half size freezers, which are never over full. One has mostly home baking and ice cream, and the other has frozen meat, fish, meals like homemade chilli and soup.

I have a walk in pantry :Hi: :Hi: which is pretty much stuffed.

Not so much tins, just a few of tomatoes, various beans, tuna, coffee, packets of rice, couscous, pastas.

And the freezers are pretty full, although not over flowing.

We could probably eat for a month, without going out, with a pretty basic diet, but water is the main thing for us. We use the bore hole water for cookling and the kettle, but shouldn't really drink it straight from the tap. I always have at least five 5 litre bottles of water.

I have had a sort out after the new kitchen hasbeen fitted. Took stuff I did not want to one of the food banks.
Have got several rolls of foils and other cooking paper.
Also small bottles of chutney which I am using when I make sandwiches.
Not much in the freezer. I am trying to have fresh vegetables and meat and fish.
Will de-frost it this week.
