Good afternoon, just come in for a breather after an hour or so potting on some tomato seedlings - 21 at the last count. Also sprayed for greenfly.

The session was enlivened by watching hawks. Two distinct types. Firstly, a stately buzzard wheeling above the house, studiously ignoring a very aggressive crow on its tail, and secondly two of Yeovilton's finest, RAF Hawk trainers doing bumps and circuits around this end of the Blackmore Vale .... :D

Once I've recovered, I'll walk up to the Pharmacy and see if our prescriptions are ready.

Good afternoon everybody.

Caught the top of my thumb when I was slicing carots for my meal last night. Managed to stop the bleeding with lint and plasters. Put a finger stall on over
it when I went to bed. The bleeding has stopped and there is a red mark where the skin is missing. Will leave it like that so that it will heal better.
Took the car for service and then went for a coffee while I waited for the bank to open.
Back home, the flagger was finishing putting grout in the joints. We had a coffee. I paid him by Bacs before he left. Made some phone calls
Had a doze after lunch. Have been in the garden. Had some plants delivered at lunch time so have put some in the front and some in the back.
It has been lovely and sunny. If it is like this tomorrow, I will have to get the sun cream out.
Why go to Portugal and then have to self isolate when you can do it at home.

Our friends friend came over because she wanted to see the house she'd bought a quarter of. Nightmare for her trying to get back to Edinburgh, what with testing, location stuff and heaven knows what.

But she enjoyed her first proper Portuguese meal of favas.

Molly legged it, as normal, but has just come back
