Morning chums :D the weather can't make its mind up at the moment. We want to do things in the garden, but it keeps raining and snowing, then the sun comes out
If rain stops play we will paint the dining room I think or I could just get on with some sewing :D
Had a lovely night of dancing, so my feet are a bit achy, but it was fun and so nice to be able to do it. I was in such a panic a few weeks ago thinking that I would have to stop.
Well, have a good day everyone and hope the poorly peeps continue to improve (((((((((hugs)))))))))
Wishing miasmum a safe trip and a lovely holiday in Devon :D

Good morning everyone, and Happy St. Patrick's Day Image. In true St. Patrick's Day tradition, it's a pretty miserable day, it was raining when we got up, then we had some wet snow, but now it is at least showing some signs of clearing up a bit. I always find it quite astonishing that St. Patrick's Day is the one day that is celebrated worldwide  , for such a small country we sure make an impact

We are off out dancing this afternoon, supposed to wear something green but I have no green clothes so it will have to be jewellery. Loz, sounds like you had a great night of dancing. Shell, enjoy your holiday, you certainly deserve it. Those feeling under the weather, do take care of yourselves. Have a good day everyone :)

Happy St Patrick's Day Osc - I discovered a lot of Irish roots when my friend did my family tree last year :D They came from Kilrea, in Derry, and moved to Scotland, then on to the Durham area as miners, where my dad's family came from......

Loz I'm so pleased for you about the dancing, it's wonderful! :D :D :D 8-)

Snowing here after a reasonably bright morning....I am really REALLY fed up :( Where is the Spring??????

Went for a walk on the beach earlier, followed by cake and coffee at the garden centre....now home and trying to stay warm :(

HATE winter with a passion

Good evening all!
It was a dull and miserable morning so I ironed, walked Billy, baked some bread and made a Shepherd's Pie for lunch (it's an easy option when John's out on his bike, unsure when exactly he'll be home). This afternoon it's been gorgeous so we took Billy for a really lovely long walk on the Chase. The sun shone, the sky was blue and it was mild. After tea it was lovely to look out and see that it was still bright and then look at the clock and see that it was in fact 6.15pm! :D

Hope everyone's had a lovely day!

Loz - Glad to hear you are dancing again. We used to spend many happy hours dancing
but we haven't been on a dance-floor for year, for health reasons, and I don't imagine we
could do any good now. I wistfully thought about it recently when cleaning and polishing
our dancing trophies.
