Good morning, all.

Nothing special about the weather here, and nothing special planned. I expect I will be 'playing about'
trying to sort out things on my laptop. Computers can take up a lot of one's time, can't they? I never
seem to find time for reading a book lately.

Hope you all have a lovely time today.

Good morning all (again, just  ) It's quite a pleasant morning here, cool, but the sun is making an effort. I've washed the outside of the downstairs windows, hard to do some of them because the front ones are up off the street, so I just do my best. Going to get my roots touched up later, I went to the hairdressers on Saturday to make an appointment, and there was a notice up saying his father had died and the salon would reopen today. I phoned this morning and his wife told me that his mother collapsed at the funeral and only has days to live :o However, I got an appointment with the woman who works with them, hope she cuts my hair properly, nobody else has cut it for over 30 years

We have a very large pile of wood in our old building, from Mr. Osc ripping the place apart, and I have had it on gumtree free to anyone who wants to come and collect it. I'm waiting for a phone call from someone who expressed an interest, so can't be too far away from my phone today. Hope this person follows through, as it would save us the cost of a skip, and the wood would be used, even if only in a woodburning stove. So fingers crossed I get the call. Have a good day everyone :)

Good afternoon all - the sun is shining here! It's only just appeared though so it may just be for a brief moment, time will tell
It's still cold though.

I've been to the gym and then done some shopping. While I was in town I got Tom a new holdall for when he goes to the gym after school as he's been struggling with his school bag and gym bag and seeing as they don't have lockers at school I worry he'll leave one of them somewhere
Billy's had a walk and I'm just waiting for the washing machine to finish so I can hang the washing on the line.

Have a good day everyone!

Afternoon all :) Well our venture to Asda pharmacy for Malarone turned into a wild goose chase, as despite our practise nurse telling B that Asda will dispense them without a script they wouldn't let her have them without one! So that was an hour of our lives wasted as we had to wait until the pharmacist was free to be told that :? You don't hang around our Asda if you don't have to - it's full of some very strange people, give me Sainsbury;s any day

It wasn't all a dud today though, as after the Asda debacle we had a bite at Sainsbury's before nipping to D's to use her printer, then B dropped her CV into the pet store place and we dropped by Hobbycraft so Mick could get some art supplies........ so we did get a bit done
