Oh Di, what a shock You've spoken before of these lovely neighbours. I have just come home from the funeral of a 72 year old and was telling Mr Osc about your neighbour, and he said "that is why we are going on that cruise in September".
Mr Osc looked after Kellie while I was out, by all accounts great fun was had, and she is now having her nap.
Exactly so Osc, and exactly why I save so hard and we book to go away as soon as we have a clear window - not much else matters really, apart from our Minnie and the boys of course.
Exactly so because when a partner dies your world falls apart believe me No matter how many friends and family you have you come home to a quiet silent home
So sorry Di, what an awful shock for B And you and Bb of course xx
On a brighter note, it's a gorgeous day here, it was quiz night last night so Jen met us at the pub and stayed overnight, I have been spoiled, two visits in only a few days Not seeing her for a good old while now though, she left to go back up to Kyle's this morning, they have been a couple now for exactly one year today - so are going out to celebrate
She surprised me greatly by telling me she had been driving Kyle's car!!! She passed her test in 2009 but hasn't been behind the wheel since.....He put her on his insurance and she has been having a little drive round his streets....however yesterday she jumped in and drove to the MetroCentre on her own!! It's very close to where Kyle lives and she used the quieter roads, IE NOT the A1!! Even so I am thrilled to bits she has become interested in driving again, and I think it's all down to Kyle
Such sad news Di, poor B I agree with Kaz, walking little Minnie will be a weight off their minds at the moment. John lost a friend a couple of years ago, one of his cycling friends. He was our age, extremely fit and was always in good health. He had a heart attack one morning when he got up, never regained consciousness and his life support was switched off after a week. You just never know what's in store do you
Good evening everybody. We have had a busy two days. Di sorry to hear your news. Lots of vibes. One of our friends we met on a cruise was rushed into hospital on Sunday with sepsis. He is not in good health as he only has one kidney and cancer. hey live near Loughborough so we only keep in touch by email. Relaxing now and will spend some time on the computer.
Sad news, Di. I can understand just how you must feel.
Life, of course, is a mixture of good and bad news, and knowing that your friends understand and care for you when the news is sad is one of the blessing of this life.
There are no strangers here; Only friends you haven't yet met.
