Good luck B! That would be one of my dream jobs Kaz, although I would've preferred it when books had to be stamped :P

Ria, I looked at the forecast for here at 7am and it was supposed to stay dry until 10ish! That was the BBC app forecast for this very location.

Ally, that cake sounds good. They do an amazing raspberry and coconut slice in the cafe in Birmingham Library.

Morning all :)
We have it lucky, it's a beautiful day here, clear blue sky and sunshine - and freezing
The teen safely at college, washing on, only just having second coffee but can't sit for long have dental check-up soon.
Cooking Chinese tonight, I park for the dentist at W/rose so will go in for stir-fry veg and prawn crackers - but no cake ;)

Good luck to B :)
Saundra ours has changed too, why do you think it's restrictive? I just switched this morning, will wait and see.

Morning everyone

Lovely morning here, washing out 8-)

A gentle pootling for me - I have a slight ache in my tum, no doubt due to yesterday, so I'll be taking it easy and supervising the weeding and window cleaning

Keeping everything crossed for B, to get something she enjoys soon Kaz. Took me years to find a job I enjoyed, although I did a bit of everything first ;)

Enjoy your day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it looks fairly pleasant out there but I think it is cold. We have the supermarket dash to do but otherwise no plans. I want to finish the dress I am making for Kellie (it will involve crochet, Jo) and no doubt we will watch a couple if episodes of Homeland, which we are binge watching like mad. Have a good day everyone :)

Well according to our uses it shows your full address when you post a n.a. d you can only see posts from your allocated area that they put you in like I won't be able to see all of Bridlington posts that's all I know

Osc, please post a picture of Kellie's dress when it's finished! :)

I need to change my Streetlife too, I didn't know that though Saundra. It's a shame if that's the case as there's a nice community on ours from around the wider area. If it was just for where I live there'd only be me I think.

Saundra, when you move over to Nextdoor you can select the neighbourhoods you'd like to see / be included in. My area was quite extensive and I actually deselected some (you can put them back later if you want). You can also restrict it so it only shows the road you live in and not the street number, that's done in the personal profile section. And that is also then only shown to the people in your direct neighbourhood

I'm going to give it a chance. I liked Streetlife and have actually made some proper friends via it - so hopefully Nextdoor won't be as bad as people are making out and we can use it more or less the same as Streetlife

I've just looked at mine on Nextdoor. The neighbourhoods that I can select are all pretty much tiny villages and some of the regular people who I was on Streetlife with aren't within the neighbourhoods.

What I also don't like, and I need to look into if I can delete this info, is that if I click on "invite" I can see the addresses of people, not just the general area but their house number too, and mine also shows.
