No sign yet sadly, thank you for asking everyone xxx

I've been very proactive today, organising signs for local shops and phoning vets and the people resposible for his chip to inform them he is missing. It's heartbreaking though - all I want is my Smudge-cat home.

Jen made a great poster which will be handed round soon.

Just worried to death and heartbroken atm

Oh (((((Gal))))xx

May I ask what sort of cat is Smudge? Is he always indoors or does he sometimes go out for walkabout? And also, how long has he been gone? Jo asked on the 15th, so I am assuming 13th or 14th.

I am wondering if he might have been wandering and been chased off by another cat or dog or human and is actually hiding nearby.

He likes to go out at night, he's done this for years (he's 4 and a half) so I'd let him out as usual on Tuesday night not long before we went to bed. He always comes in when Tom takes the dog for a walk about 5.30am, T feeds him and by the time I get up, Smudge's curled up on the back of the chair sleeping, and there he stays! Most days....others he's in and out all day, or he might sleep indoors at night so he will want to spend more time outside on those days. All my neighbours know him, he's the only tabby in this area.

Thanks for all the kind words and support xxx
