Saundra, glad to hear that it was nothing serious. But not the experience you would want to repeat.

I know that you're often near the phone, but I'd personally investigate a personal alarm rather than be put in the position. Then again I'd also probably forget to wear it all the time.. :? :?

Jen, I know the feeling. After a solid decade of hotels and eating out every week day, I started paying a lot more for accommodation which gave me my own kitchen. I can relate to the plaster dust too. There's rarely a lack of that, or other building residue, around our house; has been for the last decade or so.

I was late back last night after Mrs S phoning me at the time I intended to leave and making me aware that our email domain had vanished. I had to drag my tablet out and do the Abaco migration from Yahoo (they bought the business mail services and I've been procrastinating it), so I could see the invoices that had not been paid. So I got back near 1am.

I'm heading in to work after lunch today, just to discuss with my boss whether I need to come back to the office at all before the end of the month.

Have a great day all. It's sunny and warm here. Not quite a first for this summer but close.

Afternoon all. I was up and on the go fairly as I had a few bits to do. Collected a letter from the doc to enable Mr Osc to continue to get his B12 jabs administered by the local public health nurse, then I did the supermarket shop on the way back. Cleaned our bathroom and now I am off out again to meet my friend E who is over from Spain for a week. Dancing tonight I think. I'm late, byeeeeeee >>>>>>>>>>>

Sandra! Glad you're okay but that must've really shaken you up, take care of yourself lovely xxx

Good afternoon all, it's sunny and warm here and I'm tying to fight off a cold :x I got some fresh air when I walked Bill earlier, and helped a lost man in the woods. I do know him vaguely as he's a regular at the gym and he was trying to find a path onto the dodgy estate. He said he'd been walking around for almost an hour trying to get his bearings so me and Bill walked him to the start of the path. Billy's thought he was lovely! I'm thinking of setting myself up as some kind of unofficial woodland guide as I seem to get asked directions by people on a regular basis. Worryingly, a school girl asked the way in there a couple of months ago, she was trying to find the main road. I'd say she'd be about 12 and obviously thought she was taking a shortcut but got lost.

Joe's had his letter about college. His two day induction is on the 31st and 1st. Typical that we're in Wales at The Wedding Of The Century :| on the 1st, and he and Tom are travelling down by train on the 31st. John's called the college and he's now got to go on the 2nd, the Friday afternoon, at 2pm. John says that at least we'll have a good excuse for rushing away the next morning but I'd rather he had the benefit of a two day induction with the rest of the kids on his course than a rushed hour or two on his own (plus it'd give me a flippin' amazing reason to not have to go to TWOTC).

Have a good day all!
