We have frogs - they are one of the Portuguese favourite animals and a lot of people have ceramic ones by their doors. We have one that lights up Grumpy chose it - then found out that the light inside it goes red, green, blue, purple, lilac, yellow..........

it's so naff, we've put it in the garden - to annoy next doors dogs

Pool update

Nelson has been and done a backwash (at 8.15 ) and he'll be back on Monday. He's told me what to do, so will sort that out tomorrow.

Heldar came up and the door to the bomba will go on tomorrow and will the shower head and another tap and he or his digger driver will also sort out where the lecky box is, on the drive and connect that.

I love frogs...just not the big fat one that croaked at me mid dive this morning.

I have two ceramic ones on my front terrace that mum bought me as a housewarming present.

Just after we moved in, I wanted to see what light switches did what - and we have a spotlight over the back door, down to the garden. it's where Mercedes had her chicken run and house, so she could keep an eye on it I suppose.

So I put the light on and there was this ginormous toad/frog, completely blinded by the light. He just froze, poor thing - sorry, should say it was nighttime
