If it had been a drunk, I would still have driven round the corner and called an ambulance. I couldn't leave anyone to suffer

No nor me - Mick and I pulled over sharpish one day when we saw an old lady with her husband trip coming out of their house. Mick helped her indoors and waited while the husband - who was very shaken up - called for help.

When mrs.e fell nearly 15 years ago several people stopped and offered help. We were on the pavement, but a lady in a car stopped and phoned for an ambulance on her mobile. It was big and clumsy compared to the ones today. So we have had first hand experience of 'Good Samaritans' This was in Sevenoaks when our son and DIL were moving house.
