Evening

Sorry been awol - no internet access   Just spent half an hour on the phone to MEO - and she said it was my computer   then, all of a sudden, it all came back :cute: :cute: :cute:

Been busy, as the weather forecasts were wrong and we didn't have any rain. Transplanted 25 beetroot plants, Grumpy put all the muck that Felipe gave us on the veggie garden, then he started on the clumps of grass we have on the /eventual( lawn and I weeded. And moved some lovely wild flowers, so they are now on the bank bit.

Must go and start dinner, both knackered and starving

Hope you've all had a good day and the funeral went as well as these things do, Gal xx

Hello everyone, thank you for the thoughts and good wishes.

We had a beautiful day for it, there was a huge turnout, family came from all over the country....two rousing hymns sung with gusto as befits our family of singers (and the fact that much of the Operatic Society was present, Neil had been a member) and then a lovely eulogy....then a family catch up at a nice pub where we sat in the sunshine in the beer garden this afternoon. Sad day for sure, but also a celebration of a life well lived.

RIP to a wonderful man xxx
